Engineered With Purpose
Solid Maple Back, Natural Flame
The back is cut from a single board of solid maple with a deep natural flame figure that runs the full width of the plate, catching light differently at every angle rather than sitting flat like a laminate.
Ebony Fingerboard & Fittings
A selected ebony fingerboard pairs with hand-cut f-holes and an oil-painted solid spruce top, giving the violin its projection and its classic amber-to-brown sunburst look.
Hand-Carved Rib Construction
The ribs are shaped and purfled by hand around the bouts, a construction step that keeps the plates properly seated and lets the solid tonewoods resonate freely rather than being dampened at the joints.
